Our Service Plan is comprehensive and designed specifically
with your needs in mind. To ensure that you receive the thorough
servicing we promise, we will create a Client Service Plan,
factoring in your specific criteria, your overall size, number
of locations, and most importantly, your goals and objectives.
Following are a few examples of the services we provide:
Investment Committee: We believe that the
best Investment Committee is an educated Investment Committee.
Therefore, we spend time at each committee meeting learning
about pension plans. The topics covered vary from learning
how funds are measured, new advances in the industry, changes
in pension law, simple investment definitions, market cycles
and technological changes.
Advice on How to Invest: Because we are
licensed and registered investment representatives, we are
able to offer employees full investment advice. This includes
offering statistical information, fund reviews, investment
allocation strategies and age appropriate portfolios.
Compliance Checklist: We will prepare an
all encompassing compliance checklist. Over the course of
a plan year, there are various deadlines by which information
must be provided to the vendor and/or the IRS. Our compliance
checklist simplifies the process, details what steps must
be taken throughout the plan year and provides a timetable
clearly identifying those due-dates.
Planning Meetings: We conduct review meetings
with the plan administrator, as needed. At that time, we provide
status reports on the investments, reporting, payroll, communication,
compliance issues, and any other ongoing issues related to
the account.
Fund Analysis: Our review process uses a
combination of Sharpe composites, historical fund returns,
and Morningstar ratings. Through our analysis, we rank investment
options based on their performance and compare them to industry
benchmarks. This quantitative approach also lets us flag investment
options that may be under-performing so we can consider replacing
them.
Employee Education: Education efforts are
targeted to employee needs including description of the funds
that are offered, their historical performance, complete plan
provision explanation, loan and hardship withdrawal information,
rolling over options and plan technology available.
On-Going Advice and Support: Our employee
education is not a one-time specific event. We are accessible
and available to your employees every step of the way. We
are there to answer their questions, give advice and help
resolve any problems or concerns.
Semi-Annual Full Plan Review: Aside from
reviewing and analyzing the funds of the Plan on a semi-annual
basis, we will review your Plan in its entirety making sure
the fees of the Plan remain competitive, the Plan is adhering
to the Investment Policy Statement, the Plan is up-to-date
with all available technology, enrollment in the plan is satisfactory
and all outstanding issues and questions are answered.
